YOUTH CLINICS

All clinics are open to any player in grades 1st–8th, regardless of what school they attend.

Clinic will be held in the Practice Facility at Mooresville High School (which is located behind the school)

*Please verify that your player will be able to attend the selected dates, as no refunds will be issued. This policy allows us to ensure we have adequate staffing based on the number of athletes registered.

Clinic dates include June 4, 11, 18 and July 16, 23

Time for all clinic dates: 9:00-10:00 am

This clinic is designed specifically for elementary-age athletes to learn volleyball in a fun, supportive, and age-appropriate environment. Players will be introduced to the basic skills of volleyball such as passing, setting, serving, and movement while also learning teamwork, listening skills, and confidence on the court. The focus is on fundamentals, coordination, and developing a love for the game rather than competition.

Your player should attend if they:
- Are new to volleyball
- Want a fun introduction to volleyball with lots of encouragement and repetition

Typically for 1st-4th graders.

Time for all clinic dates: 10:00-11:00 am

This clinic is designed for players who have played organized volleyball at a beginners level and still learning consistency with skills. We focus on building confidence and consistency while continuing to develop the fundamental skills such as passing, setting, serving, hitting, and footwork. Instruction is moderately paced with lots of repetition, encouragement, and attention to form.

Your player should attend if they:
- Have played on a younger level club team or experience from outside camps
- Are still learning how to improve their pass, set, and serve but have a basic understanding
- Are working on confidence and consistency

Typically 4th-6th graders.

Times for all clinic dates: 11:00-12:00 pm

This clinic is for athletes who understand the basics and are ready to refine their skills. Players will work on improving technique, consistency, and game awareness while being introduced to more advanced concepts like serve receive, spot attacking, and team play. The pace is faster and players are expected to have a foundational understanding of the game.

Your player should attend if they:
- Have played on a school or club team before
- Can consistently pass, set, hit, and serve
- Are ready for more challenging drills and game-like situations

Typically 7th-8th graders.
